Iowa Radio Station

Hello All,
A few of us are making plans to form a radio station for Iowa Island. I've been looking into technical aspects of it all day, but need a name for this station, what are some good ideas?

So far I'm thinking something along the lines of
Radio Iowa, or something like that, but it sounds to boring as it is.

so, at the risk of sounding full of myself, what do you guys think of KLGR? it rolls off the tongue pretty well, and would be Leviathan Gray Radio.

Anna and I spoke about some other ideas for the station, what is thought about these, some have my comments next to them:

Graycast radio: as in Leviathan Gray
Iowa Island Radio: there is healthy irony in the fact that Iowa is landlocked
Power Radio: simple, maybe a little too simple
KPWR" K Power

KLGR: Leviathan Gray Radio
KLGP: Leviathan Gray Power
WLGR: Leviathan Gray Power
KLSP: Leivathan Spirit Power
KRDP: Radio Dan Power

KLGE: Leviathan Gray Educational radio


the thing is, the call letters really won't matter, we can choose any 3 letters after a K and call it "Iowa metaverse Radio KLGR" for example but if one stands out in your mind, please let me know.

How about this? We hold a radio naming contest. Perhaps our wonderful Iowa vendors might donate items and they can have some free advertising in return. The contest would then generate publicity for the new radio station and Iowa. Could this be a win, win, win situation? I have my entry ready,,,and it ain't easy finding call letters that are original. KIIA Island Iowa.

Okay, so after some discussion with Levi and Lei, Lei has given me the go-ahead to organize a radio naming contest. I have spoken to Iowa and with his help, I have decided to hold a brainstorming session for how to best conduct the contest. I will put out a group notice for any interested Iowan to gather at the Wild Rose on Tuesday, July 15 at 6SLT at the Wild Rose. Iowa has kindly given permission to host us there and we can stay after and party for awhile as well. Thanks Iowa! Be watching for the announcement - I have yet to do this - hope it works!
